For the pastry
  • 200 g flour
  • 40 g sugar
  • 100 g softened butter
  • 70 g milk
For the filling
  • 3 Pink Lady® apples
  • 30 g chopped hazelnuts
  • Creamy set honey

For the pastry
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Start by making the pastry.
  3. Cream the butter with the sugar, then add the milk and flour and mix to obtain a smooth pastry.
  4. Roll out the pastry on a floured worktop using a rolling pin, until you have a pastry disc half a centimetre thick.
For the filling
  1. Slice the Pink Lady® apples into thin strips, and chop the hazelnuts.
  2. Spread a thin layer of honey over the tart crust, then display the sliced apples and chopped hazelnuts, leaving a 2cm border all around the pastry.
  3. Fold the edge over the filling, and bake for around 35/40 minutes at 180°C.

Pink Lady® top tip

Sprinkle the tart with brown sugar before baking to lightly caramelise the apples.
