Rustic honey and apple tart

Ingredients

  • For the pastry
    • 200 g of flour
    • 40 g of sugar
    • 100 g of softened butter
    • 70 g of milk
  • For the filling
    • 3 Pink Lady® apples
    • 30 g of chopped hazelnuts
    • Creamy set honey

Steps

Step 1/2 : For the pastry

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Start by making the pastry.
  • Cream the butter with the sugar, then add the milk and flour and mix to obtain a smooth pastry.
  • Roll out the pastry on a floured worktop using a rolling pin, until you have a pastry disc half a centimetre thick.

Step 2/2 : For the filling

  • Slice the Pink Lady® apples into thin strips, and chop the hazelnuts.
  • Spread a thin layer of honey over the tart crust, then display the sliced apples and chopped hazelnuts, leaving a 2cm border all around the pastry.
  • Fold the edge over the filling, and bake for around 35/40 minutes at 180°C.
