Step 1/2 : Preparing the dumplings :
- Peel the apples and cut them into small cubes.
- Mix them with the brown sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch and salt in a bowl.
- Heat the mixture over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes, until the apples are tender and liquid begins to form.
- When they are ready, move them to a bowl and let them cool at room temperature.
- Moisten the edges of the dumpling dough and fill it with the apple chunk mixture. Close the dumplings the way you like best, in this case I used the One-way style.
- Heat the oil in a pot to 180 degrees and fry the dumplings until they are golden.
- Place them on a plate covered with kitchen paper to absorb the excess oil before plating.
- Accompanying the dumplings with some sweet sauce.
Step 2/2 : Preparing the sweet sauce :
- Add the butter, white sugar and cinnamon to a pan.
- Cook over medium heat until it is warm, bubbly and all the sugar has melted.
- If you see that it is too thick, add a little water and stir until the texture is right.

- 2 Pink Lady® apples
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon cornstarch
- A pinch of salt
- 24 dumpling doughs (I bought them frozen, but you can make your own if you like)
- Vegetable oil for frying (Olive or Sunflower for example)

- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
