Apple crumble

Ingredients

  • 7 Pink Lady® apples
  • 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 250 g butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 20 g baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups flour

Preparation

Combine butter with sugar. Add baking powder and vanilla extract. Add flour and mix to get crumbles.

Spread half dough crumbles into a baking pan (38x28 cm).

Peel and core the Pink Lady® apples, slice into quarters and shred them. Combine them with brown sugar and cinamon. Apply the mixture over the dough crumbles.

Spread the rest of the dough crumbles over the apple mixture.

Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 30 min.

Clever tips

Sprinkle with cinnamon and powdered sugar on top (after baking). Serve warm or cold. Enjoy!
