She wrote La cuina de la poma , a cookbook dedicated to apples, the thousands of apple varieties and thousands of ways of cooking them.

Pink apple

The Spanish painter Benjamin Palencia took his inspiration from the forbidden fruit when he painted " Mujer con une manzana " (Woman with an Apple).
In this painting, you can see a pensive woman, holding a red apple in her hand. The bright colour of the apple dominates the whole painting, leaving you to wonder about its meaning... Love? Temptation? Seduction?
